How can your church gain through Mission-Net?
- Mission-Net is uniquely European
Mission-Net is the only pan-European congress for everyone between the ages of 16 – 30, and who comes from a wide range of social, academic and church backgrounds
- Mission-Net is intercultural
Congress participants will gain an appreciation for various cultures within Europe and gain a new worldview on the emerging migrant face of Europe. They will also gain an appreciation for the diverse evangelical and interdenominational expressions of faith
-
Mission-Net is missional
Participants at the congress and in national movements are challenged to live a missional lifestyle in the place God has put them, and through that to transform Europe and the world. This initiative is supported by hundreds of mission agencies and youth organisations.
-
Mission-Net is church-oriented
Mission – missional lifestyle – is the very nature of the Church. Christ’s life is revealed in fellowship that, in turn, serves society. Participants learn how God dwells in His Church, how the Church enters the world, and how through His body He carries out His mission with this generation and equips them to do the job – locally, regionally and globally.
-
Mission-Net is relevant
Mission-Net´s teaching is taught to be applied to the lives of the participants, whether at school, university, or in their working lives. We want people to a) live out a Christian lifestyle and b) become transformers
-
Mission-Net is holistic
It is not only a bi-annual congress. However we want to encourage everyone to become part of new or existing national missional movements
-
Mission-Net is Jesus centred
Mission-Net is Jesus centred and Bible based. We challenge the young people to live a spiritually uncompromising and church centred life.
-
Mission-Net is prayerful
Mission-Net emphasises prayer and the expression of different styles of prayer. Most importantly it is about our relationship with God
