Am I a church person or a Kingdom person?
For many months now I have been thinking a lot about the Kingdom of God. How does it look like? How does it look like for me personally and for us in Europe and beyond?
With Mission-Net we love to encourage all of us to become radical followers of Christ, be his Kingdom bearers and make a difference in living a missional lifestyle wherever God places each of us locally and globally. And that he does so, we hear from many of you!

Blessed to meet leaders from Taize, France

At the German Kirchentag last week, I had the huge privilege of having coffee with two of the Taize leaders, Frere Georg and Frere Richard.
Taize will have their European youth congress over new year very close to us in Strassbourg, France. They also connect to churches in Offenburg as the various churches in the area are asked to host these thousands of young people. Now what to do?

Things at Messe Offenburg have been fixed

Yesterday, Niklas and I sat together once more to finalise where to place what at the site of the Messe Offenburg to be as best prepared for the next congress.
We will have a few halls for sleeping, but again it will be very basic. So bring good sleeping matresses if you are staying with us on site. 2 neighbouring schools for accommodation are 10 min walking distance away.

Discipleship and a God-hunting millionaire
Tuesday evening I had the privilege of meeting Norman (again), an Irish man who has turned 70 this year and with his wife is so in love with young people I have hardly ever seen in a man his age.
Early onwards, God blessed his company and whatever he touched, turned into gold! This has never become a stumbling block in his relationship to God, but instead he uses his money to invest in youth discipleship and other ministries locally and globally.
