Greetings from Cape Town

For the past 10 days I had the enormous privilege of being in Cape Town and attending the historical Lausanne Congress III with more than 4500 people from 200 nations. This in itself was an awesome and inspiring experience.

I had the chance of sharing about Mission-Net at the European gathering and as a result had many opportunities to speak with people and some of the country leaders of Estonia, Croatia, Turkey, Denmark, Austria, Germany,Poland, Central Asian countries... At the next congress I am dreaming off having people from all the European countries present.

I go home with a renewed sense of commitment to Europe and the world. Having heard so many heart breaking stories and seeing people paying the price for being Christians, this has deeply challenged me and we will address this at the next congress just as well. I do not only see myself as a networker for Mission-Net but I pray through Mission-Net we can bring about reconciliation as well!

Greetings from sunny Cape Town, Evi
