    Why do I support Mission-Net?

    Ian Nicholson, 24-7 European director

The single biggest factor which energised me as a young Christian was gaining an understanding of God's  heart for the nations and peoples. Suddenly my little world was blown apart. From there Ilooked to find my place in the world and to make a real difference. Mission-Net is one of the best places I know to have your horizons expanded and be inspired. You will be surrounded by fantastic people from all sorts of different places and hear stuff that will blow your mind. Following God is a lifelong adventure and Mission-Net is one of the best places for finding how you can get involved.

Jeff Fountain (YWAM Europe and leader of Schuman Centre:)

"Mission-Net will introduce young people to the broad world of missions - through speakers, mission stands and workshops. You will also meet young people from all over Europe, and stretch your horizons and expose you to a plethora of opportunities to take the next step towards joining the exciting movement of global missions - including Europe of course, now one of the world's neediest and most challenging mission fields."

    Gordon Showell-Rogers:

In Jesus, the Living God steps into history and time – He invites all His people to share in His mission to our needy world. Mission-Net is your great opportunity to learn more about how to join the mission of God.

    Dr. Roland Werner:

Mission-Net has it´s finger on the times, because faith must be lived out in the world and expressed by our love for Christ and the people of the world
Mission-Net is near to the heart of God, because he wants people throughout the world to experience his power and love.
Mission-Net is more than a congress. It is a network of young people that know the heart of God and are relevant to the times.
Mission-Net – a must for young Christians who want to discover their place in God´s world!

Dr. Roland Werner, General Secretary of YMCA Germany

    Dr. Peter Chang:

Acts 2:17 says, “young men will see visions and old men will dream dreams.” I live with God’s vision that Europe will be spiritually awakened through young men and women who give their lives to achieving this vision. What could be more important than spiritually awakening young people in this postmodern generation?

I believe Mission-Net’s passion for Christ will ignite the whole continent of Europe with the gospel and it will certainly spread out. I met Evi Rodemann and her team in Eifel this summer and was very much moved by their gospel-centeredness and their challenging spirit to transform the world.

God has not given up on Europe and He will revive this continent to be a missionary-sending continent once again. God will use Mission-Net’s commitment and vision to bring the youth in Europe back to Christ and back to mission. Join Mission-Net’s Congress 2011/2012 where young men and women will see God’s vision!

    Blessings,

    Dr. Peter Chang

    Lindsay Brown:

It is wonderful to see the engagement of Europeans in cross-cultural missions today. Europeans have not lost their missionary vision. Mission-Net is one of the best means I know of encouraging and stimulating mission amongst young people all across Europe. I trust you will support it and participate in it. It could change your life!

    Lindsay Brown

International Director of The Lausanne Movement

    ESMA-Europe Team:

Since we first met Evi Rodemann at the ESMA Conference 2010, we have not been able to shake off her passion for the Mission-Net movement. As leaders of the ESMA prayer movement at theological education institutions, it is our job to encourage theological students to pray for the world and commit themselves to personal holistic involvement. Mission-Net is a network that exists to promote a missional lifestyle throughout Europe. ESMA is part of this network, and it is our hope that Mission-Net would motivate many young Christians to live a missional lifestyle, thus radically changing theface of Europe. Why not join Mission-Net and become a part of this movement! Use your gifts and ability to support Mission-Net. Your involvement will not only benefit Mission-Net, but especially you! Catch a glimpse of the bigger picture by getting involved and experience God at work – in Europe!

May God bless you! With kind regards,

    Richard, Vera & Julia
    ESMA Europe Team

    Hartmut Steeb:

The living God allows us to partner with him. He wants that people discover him, and we can share in that process. Mission-net makes clear in this important task that everyone can be involved by using their gifts. In this way our lives gain more meaning and purpose. So join us at Mission-Net!

Hartmut Steeb, General Secretary of German Evangelical Alliance, Vice Chairman of Lausanne Movement Germany and Vice Chairman of ProChrist

    Niek Tramper:

    Mission-Net: firing "market-place Christians"

When I was a student in 1983, I attended I big mission event of IFES in Manchester. I remember the Bible studies of John Stott there as if they were presented yesterday! It shaped my life, my missionary zeal. Mission-Net is full of vibrant expectancy, preparing a big missionary event within one year's time. Such an event can change your life! The event is not the goal, but the missional lifestyle incited by it. We need "market place Christians", people who follow Jesus in the midst of the (non-Christian) world. I pray that Mission-Net will be used by the Holy Spirit to stir the missional fire. It should not be the first time that He fires young people to bring revival in this old, lukewarm continent Europe!

Mission-Net: bringing young people to a missional lifestyle!

It is my prayer and heartfelt longing that Mission-Net will be instrumental again in stirring up a missional lifestyle among young people. Through the big event coming up in December 2011 (Yes, be there, it will change your life!) but also through the day to day encouragement of the Mission-Net staff and board members. Recently a non-Christian biological student came to me to do an interview. A couple of years ago, he had met one of the young people of our church during their daily newspaper route in the early mornings. He was invited to a little Bible group for skeptics, joined but kept his skepticism and we lost contact. A year later there was an unexpected breakthrough in his life. He found Christ and came to me with joy on his face to ask me whether he could do an interview on science and faith for the journal of his university. This was a happy surprise. But it all started with the welcoming, missional attitude of a young church member. This is what Mission-Net likes to see in many young lives for the glory of God and the revival of the church in this old secularized continent Europe!

    Gofi Müller:

Mission is to give hands and feet and a face to god´s love. When we experience this love, our hearts and ears are opened. Mission-Net helps young Christian people to serve people in the name of Jesus across the cultures. A great initiative!!!

    Gofi Müller,
    Author, Speaker, Artist (Germany)

    George Verwer:

„I believe we will get more people than ever before at this great event. I am praying they will come with hunger for the word of God and spiritual reality... I am praying that lives will be transformed.“

George Verwer (founded OM and is still trying to mobilize people for missions in every possible way)

    Connie Duarte:
“I love Mission-Net because I think whenever we can pull together people from all over Europe, from every denomination and tradition and talk about building the Kingdom of God we are doing great work for the glory of God!”

Connie Duarte (is teaching at the Portuguese Theological Seminary, part of the leadership team in her local church, wife and mother and part of Mission-Net Board)

    Carlos Martinez:
"It is a gift to be among so many people from different nations and together open our hearts to a renewed vision.
Mission-Net offers a place where we can be inspired and encouraged by people, music, the word and even silence.
It is a privilege for me to take part again with the universal language of mime."

    Carlos Martinez (speaker without words)

    Rebecca and Ramez Attalah:

„We expect that God will be present at the next Mission-Net and that He will speak to many young people there about His call for their lives. We believe everyone is „called“ regardless of whether they „stay at home“ or „go overseas“ and that the most important decision a young person can make is to obey God in all that they do.“

Ramez Attalah (developed the French student ministry in Quebec in the seventies, worked among students in Egypt and is now serving as General Director of hat Bible Society of Egypt.)

Rebecca Attalah (was born as a missionary child in Haiti, served with World Vision in Quebec and is now active in ministry among children and the disabled at the Mokattam Garbage Village and among Sudanese refugees.)

    Kalevi Lehtinen:

“I love Mission-Net, because I love young people with a vision to conquer the world for Jesus. The world needs them. The church needs them. And God needs them.”

Since 1987 he has told the Good News all around the world and still he is not tired. He is loving Jesus, the bible and the unity of believers and he wants to save as many as possible. He is still working as a Bible teacher, Evangelist and Mentor for the young generation.

Marcel and Lydia Zimmer with the „World News Band“:
„What we love about Mission-Net is that it gives you the opportunity to spend time with God, learn and seek God's will for your life and His purpose and love for the world. And we very much look forward to worshiping God at Mission-Net together with many people from different nationalities, in different languages but all with one voice to praise our God!“

Marcel and Lydia Zimmer with the „World News Band“
(working on a new worship CD at the moment and preparing for the worship concerts that they have planned.)

    Klaus Engelmohr:

I believe Jesus loves our world - that means he loves every person who lives on our planet. Jesus longs to have a deep loving relationship with everyone. Mission-Net can help us understand this passion of Jesus more deeply and to be part of Gods missional movement on this earth. That is why I love Mission-Net.

    Klaus Engelmohr,
    Pastor, Southern Germany

    Charlie Hadjiev:

“I expect that God will meet us powerfully, and speak to us in a way that will transform us.“

Works with students in challenging them to share their faith with other University students. They also provide Bible and evangelism training to students and student workers from the various European student movements who are part of IFES.

    Jason Mandryk:
„I LOVE Mission-Net because it is a foretaste of heaven – worshipping and praying followers of Jesus coming together from different cultures, languages, races, generations to glorify Him. It’s also wonderful to see young people especially, who want to be mobilised and equipped to impact their communities and the unreached with the Gospel. Being part of that is truly a privilege.“

Jason Mandryk finished a new edition of Operation World, and is currently working on developing a new prayer and mission resource, including a new children`s version of Operation World
