Leaders' Tracks

We will have two tracks for leaders.

One is geared at youth leaders, one for theological leaders.

 

What can you expect in the youth leaders track?

 

Igniting Movements of Missional Discipleship

As leaders within His Kingdom we don't need to waste time trying to work out our primary calling - our Master has made this clear - we are called to make disciples who will make disciples. Jesus taught us the need for both an inward journey of love for God - personal growth - and an outward journey - love for others - embracing His heart to bless all the nations of the world - mission.

Within the leaders track we will explore how this priority of Jesus - making disciples who make disciples - should be at the heart of our ministry calling and how we live out this priority as a missional lifestyle daily. There will be a total of 7 seminars divided into 2 tracks.

Track 1 will seek to ignite and equip experienced leaders as they pursue movements of discipleship.

Track 2 will be shaped around the 'How To's' of disciple making examining the vision, values and practices of Jesus as the Master disciple maker. Both Track 1 and 2 will earth learning in experience and provide tools to support both those just catching a vision for missional discipleship, and those already experiencing the joy of following in Jesus' footsteps.

Seminar 1 - Being a First Follower

Exploring how our leadership changes when we embrace a disciple making strategy.

 

Seminar 2 - Taking the Long View

Examining how we can develop a disciple making strategy that results in those we disciple maximising their potential as they continue to grow.

 

Seminar 3 - Staying the Course

Exploring models of discipleship designed to help leaders stay passionate and bold in their personal following.

 

Seminar 4 - Building Kingdom Partnerships

Examining models of partnership between churches and agencies designed to ignite movements of discipleship both locally and nationally.

 

 

Track 2 - 'Getting Practical'

 

Seminar 1 - Essential Foundations

Exploring the necessary principles and practices disciple makers must embrace to see disciples become disciple makers.

 

Seminar 2 - Missional Small Groups

Focusing on the how we can link small group programmes and missional opportunities to help young people live the priority of the Kingdom of God.

 

Seminar 3 - Mentoring

Examining approaches to mentoring which not only help young people get established in their faith but encourage them to reach out to others.
